- Base salary 50k yearly +10% Commission of Gross Profit on new clients for 24 months
- (Expected Year 1 OTE: 65,000 Year 2 OTE: 100,000)
- Base of 35k +17% Commission of Gross Profit on new clients for 24 months
- (Expected Year 1 OTE: 60,000 Year 2 OTE: 120,000)

What is the role?
You will be the first sales person we’re hiring.
As an essential member of the team, you’ll be shaping the way we market and build out how our sales process works. You’ll also be key in identifying and building long-term relationships with strategic partners.
While we have training planned, nobody at our company has what you would call traditional sales skills. Nor sales leadership skills for that matter.
We don’t feel that we would be able to train a fresh person from scratch well enough, fast enough, for them to make the impact we need, and for them to be able to meet the projected On-Target-Earnings.
So we need someone with a little experience.
And we’re ready to support you however we can, with:

- Transparency into processes and projects
- Recommendation statements from happy clients
- Our HomeServiceLeaders Podcast and social marketing efforts
- Freedom to request resources, from documents and training to marketing initiatives and website updates
Work From Home
Like most other teams today, we’re dispersed across the US and primarily working from home. We expect you will be too.
We do the bulk of our communication during normal business hours – 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, and would expect you to be responsive to the team during that time. (15-30 minute response time unless there are meetings on your calendar)
BUT team members do work at all hours of the day or night, whatever works best for them on that day. You’re not expected to answer slack messages at 10pm on a saturday, but you might GET them.
We’re a Bring Your Own Devices company. Computer and cell-phone are the tools of the trade.

If you’ve got time for a round of 9 in there or you want to work from a vacation rental, go for it.
However, some of us are workaholics, so you are required to take 4 days “completely out of office” per quarter to maintain personal health. (Yours AND ours)
What you will achieve:
We currently service a dozen clients on a monthly recurring model.
We’d like to grow to 44 clients over the next 36 months.
Within your first month, you will dive into our current company planning roadmap, partner with Nathan to complete the company’s 2021 “Revenue Playbook”, review our client work done to date, set up the workflow incorporating the company CRM and Email management and present that workflow to the team.
After 3 months, you will have:
Gained a strong understanding of our products and value proposition vs business-as-usual, set 90 day rocks towards our 1 year company target, built lists of targeted prospects that are deal-stage transparent in the CRM, be meeting regularly with the team to present your weekly accountability numbers, and be assisting actively with marketing efforts like finding podcast guests.
After 6 months, you will have built out a robust future sales funnel, brought in at least 4 new monthly retainer clients in our target markets, developed relationships with at least 2 new strategic partners, set new 90 day rocks with the team during quarterly planning, assisted with building out case studies and other robust materials to support sales efforts, and be looking forward to annual planning
